Today I have an incredible amout of energy! I even woke up really early, which doesn’t usually happen. You already know that I am fighting to make it a habit to wake up in the morning but it seems that my body is really stubborn. Truth be told, the wheather doesn’t really help me with this either.
I am not sure if it’s only me, but this autumn seems very different from all the other ones. I was thinking that I didn’t get to do a photo shoot in which I presented the specific colors of this season. It has been raining a lot lately, but when I noticed that Saturday was a little bit sunny, I said to myself that I should not miss the chance to do it.
When I think about autumn, the first think that comes to mind is layering. For those who are not familiar with the concept, it reffers to wearing the clothes in layers. I find it extremely practical, especially during this period of time. You can combine different pieces of clothing that you have worn this summer and let your imagination run wild. Whether it’s a turtle neck + pullover, shirt + pullover, turtle neck + dress, T-shirt + shirt + jacket and examples could go on taking into consideration everyone’s preferences. All you have to do is play with what you have in your closet. Aaaand, girls, don’t stop at your attire, take a look at your friends as well. Now is the time to borrow oversized sweaters and jackets. You could also create a sensational outfit without buying any new piece of clothing.
Because I promised that in every outfit I will present at least one vintage piece of clothing or one made by a local producer, I decided to try an outfit in which I felt very good and comfortable at the same time. My boots from last winter (which I bought with discount :)) are amongst the most comfortable pieces of footwear I have. I can walk all day and not have any problems. The oversized sweater, the piece of clothing that I find mandatory during this time, which offers me the comfort I need, and a vintage dress-shirt.
Until now, nothing recently bought, I only added the bag from Jadu which I clearly love and obviously, my favourite earrings from Everbril. But you already know this, maybe you got tired of them, but I can’t :).
This is how an autumn outfit looks like from my point of view.
I hope you enjoy it. I can’t wait to hear what you prefer and what you think of wearing this season in the comment section below.
